Q: Do you offer Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy aside from KAP?
A: Journey Clinical is on a mission to expand access to transformative, evidence-based psychedelic therapies, starting with Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). In order to provide the safest, evidence-based care, we do not supply psychedelics that are not legally approved.
Q: Can I take other psychedelics while participating in KAP?
A: Due to the risks of other psychedelics interfering with ketamine, we recommend avoiding other substances that produce non-ordinary states of consciousness for at least 48-72 hours prior to a KAP dosing session. Additionally, avoiding other psychedelics will better help your care team delineate any positive or negative changes you might notice while engaged in KAP.
Q: Can I take ketamine simultaneously with another company and Journey Clinical?
A: Some patients concurrently have scheduled IV/IM in-office treatments, and that should be relayed and discussed with your prescriber during your intake consultation to determine your eligibility for ketamine and treatment plan through Journey Clinical.
At this time, we cannot authorize prescriptions for ketamine if you are already receiving oral ketamine from another provider.
