Microdosing:
The Journey Clinical Medical Team does not prescribe ketamine for microdosing. Our prescribed medication is weight-based and must only be taken during a scheduled KAP session with your psychotherapist.
If you’re microdosing other psychedelic substances, we cannot advise on this as there is not sufficient evidence for Journey Clinical to support its use. Our recommendation is to avoid any substances for at least 48-72 hours prior to KAP to avoid any potential interaction with treatment.
Psycholytic Dosing:
Psycholytic therapy uses low doses of ketamine to support psychotherapy. Unlike high-dose psychedelic experiences, psycholytic therapy gently softens the rigid structures of normal consciousness, making it easier to access and process emotions and memories that might otherwise be difficult to reach.
While standard ketamine doses typically facilitate a quiet, inward experience, psycholytic doses enable you to continue conversing with your therapist throughout the dosing session.
