Overview: At Journey Clinical, the safety of our members is our top priority. We have a team of highly experienced, knowledgable medical providers who complete thorough assessments to determine eligibility for KAP. If a prescriber asks for medical clearance, you will not be eligible to receive a prescription or move forward with KAP until further results or collaboration with specialized medical providers is achieved. While we understand that it can be frustrating and disappointing to wait, we are not able to authorize patients to undergo KAP without full medical clearance if there are unique risks identified. Our team will communicate any updates regarding your personalized plan.
Timeframe and Eligibility Status Updates: Please note that the average wait time for medical clearance is about two weeks, but the process varies depending on the necessary information and the medical facility involved. Once your medical clearance comes in, our patient support care team will notify you via email regarding the change in status, and if you are eligible, they will notify you once the prescription is sent. Please check your email for any updates.
Payment/Refund: You will not be refunded for your intake unless you are deemed ineligible for KAP after your medical clearance is processed. Many times, patients are able to move forward with KAP after the medical clearance process is completed. If after further medical review you are not cleared and are deemed ineligible, our patient support team will assist with initiating a refund.
We thank you for your patience during this important process.
